Description
Giacosa Fratelli is a winery located in Neive, Italy. The company's history spans hundreds of years and is intertwined with family values passed down from father to son. The wine's aroma is rich and persistent, with floral notes of rose and fruity nuances of blood orange, as well as spice and ethereal woody aromas. Patience and bottle aging allow this wine to express the charm of its complexity.
The grapes are hand-picked and carefully placed in large crates. They are left to rest overnight before being crushed and destemmed the following morning. This is followed by a long submerged cap maceration, lasting 55 days.
After the racking process, the wine is first refined in 30-hectoliter French oak barrels for 46 months and then in stainless steel tanks for another year, before finally being bottled.
