Description

In May 1997, the Rupert & Rothschild project was established. Baron Edmond de Rothschild was already well-established in the Old World and wanted to bring the experience and passion he already possessed to other regions. Anton Rupert was driven by optimism and determination and had always been an entrepreneur. The main goal was to cultivate pedigree wines in other countries. Together, they made iconic wines that set new standards.

For this wine, only free-run juice from gently pressed whole bunches was used. Aged for 11 months, part in 300-liter French oak barrels, and the rest in 2500-liter French oak barrels.

Aromas of tangerine, delicate orange blossom, and subtle vanilla entice the senses. On the palate, fresh minerality is complemented by the sweetness of passion fruit and hints of oak.
