Description
Belgrade Urban Distillery is the first open-type micro-distillery. It started as a project by the creators of a rakia shop in 2006, and in 2009, they launched their own production under the Branko brand. They specialize in fruit rakijas in limited batches from the super-premium segment, aiming to present Serbian rakia in a new, modern way.
Branko Traditional is a modern double-distilled plum rakia, produced in small batches according to a preserved recipe from hand-picked and sustainably grown plums. Its unique taste comes from distillates aged in Serbian oak barrels for at least a year and a half.
Pronounced fruity taste of ripe plums with pleasant aromas coming from the oak.
Serve chilled.
Chef’s suggestion
Excellent as an aperitif or digestif in combination with appetizers/meze and traditional Eastern European dishes. It pairs well with salads, aged cheese, or meat specialties.
