The Chardonnay for this magnificent wine grows on limestone soil containing millions of tiny fossils. It is this marine origin that gives the wines of Chablis their unique taste. The winery strives for smaller yields in order to extract the palette of nuances of the terroir. The hallmark of the vinification is the slow pressing, which spares the fruit. The wine is aged for 7-8 months in stainless steel containers. Like all Joseph Drouhin wines, due respect is paid to the terroir and the character of the vintage.
