Description
In 1984 Rita and Virgilio made their lifelong dream a reality by purchasing the property that was to become Tua Rita. The landscape and the buildings on this property were simply a setting for living in contact with nature, while cultivating their beloved land. Their immense passion for wine actually changed their plans. The initial two hectares of vineyards were meticulously cultivated from the outset, with this strict and passionate care ranking Tua Rita among the most successful producers, designated as "vins de garage". In less than a decade, they expanded their property to nine hectares, then to twenty, and nowadays the total area of planted vineyards is thirty hectares.
The wine is aged for about 18 months in new and once-used French oak barrels; once transferred to the bottle in the summer, the wine is left to age for several months before being released to the market.
Deep purple in color, Giusto di Notri offers abundant aromas of blackberries, plums, and blackcurrants with undertones of coriander, violet, and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied, with ripe, fine tannins and a silky texture, this is a stunning wine with great aging potential.
