Description

Lar de Paula was founded in 2004, the result of accumulated knowledge and the desire to pay homage to those who gave meaning to a legacy that continues to grow today. Each area around the winery – Laguardia, Kripan, Lanciego – is part of a mosaic that enriches our winemaking personality. The vineyards are over 40 years old.

Our winery is located in the small enclave of Elvillar, at an altitude of 600 meters. The soil is calcareous, hard, and demanding. Cool mornings and sunny afternoons, favored by the altitude and orientation, allow for slow and balanced ripening. The temperature range between day and night concentrates the aromas. The Ebro Valley, to the south, provides humidity and fertility.

75% Viura and 25% Malvasia. Fermentation takes place in new French and American oak barrels for 25 days. The wine spends approximately 100 days in new French and American oak barrels on its lees, and is periodically stirred to enhance its aroma.

Color - Pale yellow with greenish reflections

Aroma - Intense and complex, harmonizing ripe fruit and well-integrated wood

Taste - Smooth and fresh, with good acidity.
