Description

Cantina Girlan was founded in 1923 in an ancient 16th-century farm estate. At that time, 24 winegrowers laid the foundations for what would later become the winery we see today.

The hills are located in Oltradige, at an altitude of 450 to 500 meters in well-ventilated vineyards. The cultivation site is rich in minerals, a result of sedimentation from the Ice Age, and is characterized by volcanic porphyry soils.

The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers. This is followed by gentle pressing and clarification of the must through natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, as does aging on the fine lees.
