Description

The winemakers at Wittmann Winery in Rheinhessen have 350 years of viticulture, passed down through 15 generations. The harvest is carried out in stages and selectively. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. Their juice flows into the cellar, located six meters underground. At Wittmann Winery, fermentation is allowed to proceed slowly and gently.

The grapes for this wine are biodynamically grown on the limestone soils of Westhofen. The vineyards are carefully managed, with grapes hand-selected and various biodynamic measures applied throughout the year.

Rheinhessen's healthy limestone soil gives this dry estate Riesling its distinctive taste. This fruit-driven wine delights the palate with its saline minerality, remarkable acidity, and lingering aftertaste. The aroma reveals persistent notes of grapefruit, citrus, and pomelo.
