Description

Château de Pez is the oldest estate in Saint-Estèphe. Founded in the 15th century, the winery has been owned by various families until it was finally acquired by Louis Roederer in 1995.

2019 is the first vintage of the second wine, also AOC Saint-Estéphe. 2nd Pez is a selection made after blending the Grand Vin with a portion of younger vines.

A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barriques.
