Description

Gemischter Satz was once widespread. It was common practice to plant several grape varieties together in one vineyard to reduce risk. With an emphasis on single-varietal wines, Gemischter Satz unfortunately lost its significance. It is now experiencing a revival due to the unique character these wines can achieve.

The vineyards are approximately 20 years old. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, and the must is pressed with a low-pressure pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place with automatic temperature control at 19°C. The wine is stored in stainless steel tanks and bottled in our cellar in Burgundy bottles.
