Description
Reyka Icelandic Vodka is the only vodka in the world distilled in one of only six Carter Head stills in existence. Its high copper content contributes to an exceptionally smooth taste with natural sweetness and notes of wild berries.
Reyka Vodka is produced in small batches of 1,000 litres to ensure its exceptional quality. Each distillation takes approximately 6 hours and yields 255 cases.
Reyka Vodka is not only made in Iceland; it is made BY Iceland. The water for it comes from an arctic spring, passing through a 4,000-year-old volcanic field. Some say this is the best filtration method in the world. And good vodka comes from pure water.
The distillery is powered by geothermal energy, derived from Iceland's underground volcanoes.
The vodka is distilled in Borgarnes, Iceland – a coastal village surrounded by abundant natural resources. The air there is so pure that carbon dioxide levels are actually constantly falling. The Master Distiller is Þórður Sigurðsson, who is also the local firefighter and police officer.
