Chateau Kolarovo Winery

Chateau Kolarovo

Wine is the lock through which you peek into the heart.

The wines of the cellar are characterized by a dense body and high alcohol due to the good ripening of the grapes. The aromas are typical for the different varieties: plum, mint, berries, light jam notes. So far, the oak barrels soften them and give them spiciness and toasted tones. Annually 'Chateau Kolarovo' produces about 70,000 bottles. They are distributed in short boutique series. The wines are always powerful, with a soft southern character, ripe fruit and smoky notes.

The aim of the winery team is to make the produced wines an emblem of the Kolarovo and South Sakar region. Oenologists from Kolarovo do not compromise on quality in any step of the production process: from the grapes in the vineyard to the wine in the bottle. These efforts for individuality and perseverance in the quality of wines have been rewarded with dozens of medals from Decanter, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine Contest Bucharest, Mondiales des Vins - Canada, Berliner Wine Trophy, Citadelles Du Vin.

Chateau Kolarovo is probably the only wine cellar of this size in Bulgaria, which has won so many international awards for its wines from prestigious competitions.
