Finland Vodka
Born under the setting sun in northern Finland, Finlandia vodka embodies the Finnish spirit of living in harmony with nature, using its most perfect ingredients.
The tradition of true Finlandia vodka began in 1970 with Alco and only a year later Finlandia was the first Scandinavian vodka sold in the United States.
Thousands of years ago, glaciers retreated, leaving behind moraines through which crystalline glacial water could pass, giving vodka its clean and mild taste.
Every summer in Finland the sun does not set for 72 days. It shines at night and its rays nourish the barley of the unusual land.
Golden Finnish barley grows where other barley fails. In the cold north, it ripens under the setting sun, giving vodka its crystalline, clean and soft taste.
Finnish barley turns into a pulp that goes through over 200 distillation steps for more than 50 hours, supervised by master distillers before adding water from the Rajamaki glacial spring. The water passes through the natural filter of moraines left by glaciers thousands of years ago. Thus, the vodka is now perfectly purified.
