The House of Metaxa distillery was originally in Piraeus, but fame and the search for the spirit have necessitated a move to newer and more spacious establishments. On the outskirts of Athens, in a place favored by the nearby cool mountain breeze, the winery found a new home. Here the fine distillates mature slowly to achieve an ideal profile and finally be chosen to become Metaxa.
