22 by Burdi are unexpectedly different, non-standard and memorable drinks. They are made from selected white and red wines, naturally flavored with an extract of 22 valuable herbs from the Bulgarian mountains.

Over the years, drinks such as traditional Bulgarian wormwood are slowly but surely fading and disappearing from the market. Fewer and fewer people, especially the young, have tried them and know what they are. For the sacks about her, she has a mostly negative image of something "unpleasant and bitter."

And this is how the Idea was born - the desire and entrepreneurship to create a modern reading of herbal wine, turning it into an advanced and modern drink.

The adventure begins with a trip around the country and collecting old, forgotten recipes and herbs. The desire to create a closer and more understandable for the present time, healthier alternative to many of the popular aperitifs and cocktails based on them dates back to 22 by Burdi.

After many conversations with people who in one way or another have made or still make herbal wines, they stop at 22 herbs, of which the only thing reminiscent of wormwood is just the idea of a drink like it. This is how 22 by Burdi differs from the classic wormwood.

Production

Blends of white and red wines are used as a base, and the varieties are typical for Northwestern Bulgaria, where the vinification itself takes place. The already mentioned selection of 22 herbs is added in the form of an aqueous extract.

No artificial flavors and colors are used in the process, and the delicate additional sweetening is achieved with a high-quality natural sweetener. No sugar or any similar sweeteners are added!

By its nature, 22 by Burdi® belongs to the category of "aromatized wine-based drinks" - the group to which Sangria, Glühwein and other similar drinks belong.
There are currently two "22 by Burdi" labels on the market:
• "22 by Burdi Classic" - based on white wine
• "22 by Burdi Red" - based on red wine
Customers and professionals define them as non-standard, distinctive drinks, with complex and long aromas, fine sweetness and delicately bitter finish.
