Domain Menada is one of the largest wine producers in Bulgaria and continues to grow. The company has more than 426 hectares of its own vineyards. In 2004 the winery was completely modernized and today it includes a cellar for primary wine production, workshops for stabilization, bottling and packaging of wine. Vineyards

The main vineyards are located in the villages of Elhovo and Mogilovo - about 18 km from the town of Stara Zagora. Grape varieties are carefully selected, depending on the characteristics of the region. Domain Menada producers are proud of the quality of the white varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon, Muscadel and Viognier. Among the red varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

Terroir

The relief of the region is rugged, sloping to the south. The altitude is from 170 to 260 m. The soils are cinnamon-forest, medium sandy-clay, deluvial-stony and alluvial-deluvial slightly sandy-clay. The climate and soils are particularly suitable for the grape varieties grown in the region and give the wine the necessary sweetness and density.

Climate

The climate is temperate continental. A characteristic feature of the temperature regime is the rapid warming in the spring and the late cooling in the autumn. A unique value here is the local air current, which does not allow the retention of cold during the winter months. Temperatures are favorable for the accumulation of sufficient sugar and acids, which give harmony and softness to the wine.

Some of the most recognizable brands of the winery are Tcherga, Tcherga 10 and Menada. In 2017, the winery launched a limited series Barrique Point, an updated design line of Artistique wines and a specially created series of consumer consumers - InoVino wines.
