Villa Bassarea
The name of the winery comes from "Bassareus", which is a Thracian nickname of Dionysus.
Villa Basarea was established in 2014. in Harmanli by three friends: the brothers Todor and Kiril Bratanovi and the technologist Kamen Koev. Driven by a common dream - to produce small batches of wines with a distinctive character from local grapes, combining modern technology with the traditions of our ancestors.
Grapes from the region (mainly near the villages of Izvorovo and Kolarovo), grown by prominent local winegrowers, are used to make each of the winer's wines.
Some massifs are more than forty years old, which ensures the distinctive character of the wines produced by classical technologies with a lot of manual labor.
The wine series are "Villa Bassarea", "Villa Bassarea Reserve" and "Image".
