We live for wine because being a winemaker is much more than a job. This is a way of life!

Walter Glazer was one of the first to believe in the ability of Carnunt's vineyards to produce excellent grapes. He inspired many young wine families in the region and thus became one of the pioneers of the wine industry in Carnunt. The Glatzer brand creates elegant wines with silky tannins and soft acidity that deliver pleasure with every sip.

While many winemakers have used new oak barrels in search of greater density for their wines, Glatzer adheres to his credo: "Typical regional character and terroir cannot be expressed in exclusively tannin and strongly oak wines."

As the region is dominated by the warm Pannonian climate, nearly 70% of the 50 hectares of the mansion are planted with red wines, mainly Zweigelt, but also Blaufrenchis and Saint Laurent.

We live for wine because being a winemaker is more than much more than work. This is a way of life!
