Pfaffl

Pfaffl is a family winery run by a brother and sister together. Roman Josef Pfafl is a winemaker and oenologist at the winery. It is important for him to perform these activities personally. His sister Heidi Fisher is in charge of business development and brand marketing.

The pride of the Pfaffle family is their vineyards. They currently cultivate about 110 hectares. The places are scattered in the Stetten district of Weinviertel and in nearby Vienna. Due to the many different vineyards from Pfaffl winery have the opportunity to produce a wide range of different wines.

Much of the processing of grapes is done by hand, because respect for the nature and the view of the bigger picture is very important for the family of winemakers. Careful hand picking gives a better understanding of the plants and this allows you to react to capricious weather each year. In turn, this is a great prerequisite for richer harvests.
