Polz

The Polz winery is located in one of the most favorable wine-growing places in Austria: the Styria region. The geological diversity of the soils, the abundant sunshine and the well-distributed precipitation create ideal conditions for winemaking. However, the quality of wine cannot be due solely to natural resources. The experience gained over decades, as well as the uncompromisingly high quality standards are what turn a good grape harvest into wines that have their own character.

The Polz family winery is characterized by the manual processing of grapes and vineyards. This is a tradition that has been passed down for generations.

The wines of the Polz wine cellar have long been appreciated from outside Austria. Vineyards have remained a family business to this day as each member of the family has their own role in the overall process.

And as in all families, the Poltz family also includes many different personalities with all sorts of strengths and characteristics that ultimately characterize the unique character of our wines.
