Founded in 1948, Vinex Preslav is still one of the leaders in the production of high quality wines and spirits.

Our aim is to preserve the traditional wine style while constantly improving the quality of beverages through modern trends in winemaking.

At Vinex Preslav we rely on carefully selected grapes, modern technologies and a highly qualified team of professionals who put maximum potential to achieve excellent results. Our wines, brandies and brandies have been awarded prizes at the most prestigious international and national competitions, including - Winery, Mundus Vinci, Chardonnay du Monde, Challenge International du Vin.

Vineyards

Vinex Preslav is a standard for wines with a name and character. Our vineyards are located in three key districts for winemaking in Bulgaria - Khan Krum, Novi Pazar and Veliki Preslav. We grow vines of the varieties Traminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Merlot and others.

Terroir

The terroir here favors a perfect varietal appearance. This is a very suitable area for growing white grapes. The relief is hilly, with an altitude of 200 - 280 m. Brown forest soils and carbonate chernozem predominate. They are well aerated and warm, soils with a light grain structure / especially for higher neighborhoods / and have a pH of 6 - 6.5.

Climate

The average temperature during the growing season is 3600-3700 C, which combined with a long and warm autumn, provides a sufficient accumulation of sugars, with a high content of titratable acids and pH 3.0 - 3.2. The annual amount of precipitation is about 650 dm3 / m2 and this determines good physiological moisture of the tissues.
