Produced by the distillery Bodegas Williams & Humbert, which was established in 1877 and is one of the largest producers of sherry and brandy in the world. In addition to beverages, the company also sells its barrels, which are used to age world-famous whiskey brands such as The Macallan and others. All barrels are located in a mansion, which is a total of 150,000 sq.m. (together with the production parts). The company is 100% owned by the Medina family and one of the largest in Jerez, Spain.
Rum Dos Maderas Celesion has three stages of aging. The rum was initially aged in American white oak barrels in the Caribbean (Guyana and Barbados) for 10 years, then transported to Jerez, Spain and continued its aging process in barrels of Dos Maderas 5 + 5 rum (which has already been aged in 2 different sherry barrels before bottling).
