Impressive with its golden-amber color, Black Sea Gold 33 XO brandy combines notes of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fig and raisins, acquired by maturing the wine distillate for thirty-three years in Strandzha oak barrels. Prolonged aging gives the brandy incomparable complexity and softness, which are complemented by exceptional harmony and balance due to its subsequent storage for a year and a half in ten-ton oak barrels.
The complex aroma, the refined taste and the unforgettable finish are the reason why the Black Sea Zalto 33 XO brand has won three consecutive gold medals at the International Exhibition "Vinaria", is an undisputed leader on the Bulgarian market and a worthy competitor to the most prestigious French cognacs.
PROCESSING PROCESS
The wine distillate produced by Juni Blanc, Dimyat and Rakatsiteli is transferred to transport barrels of Strandzha oak with a volume of 450 to 600 liters, where for 30-37 years it develops different aromas and flavors. This is followed by blending of wine distillates from different years, aiming to achieve the desired taste. The resulting wine distillate, whose average age is 33 years, is transferred to camp barrels with a volume of 10 tons also from Strandzha oak, where the blend is stored for a year and a half and acquires balance and harmony.
