These include those that existed during the reign of King George V, as well as premium whiskies from Benrinnes, Caol Ila, Cardhu and Port Ellen. The combination of these creates the unique profile and complex flavours of this legendary whisky.
Aroma: There is a slight sweetness on the nose combined with smoky aromas followed by hints of orange, raisins, figs and cinnamon.
Taste: Well balanced flavours - notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, fruit, cocoa, caramel and roasted nuts develop.
Finish: A lingering finish that carries a characteristic smoky nuance.
