Ахлайтен е легендарно лозе във Вахау в малкото селце Вайсенкирхен. Известно е с вина с неподражаем минерален характер. Сухите каменни стени от XII век, които са разположени по стръмните склонове с богата на силикати почва, доминират в пейзажа на това лозе. В горните тераси гнайсът е преобладаващият подпочвен слой, а в долните тераси преобладават тъмни шистовидни амфиболити. Едно от най-добрите лозя в Австрия. „Смарагд“ е категория в региона обозначаваща комплексни, плътни и минерални вина от с голям потенциал за отлежаване.

Variety: Riesling
Colour: Light yellow-green colour with silver reflections.
Aroma: Nuances of juicy stone fruits (apricot) and delicate notes of white peach, lemon, white pepper and fresh wild herbs.
Taste: Very juicy and lively with a refreshing acidity balancing the wine very well. Structured and elegant with an intense fruity sweetness on the finish and an aftertaste with a salty minerality characteristic of the Achleiten vineyard.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
