Grape Variety: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Syrah.
Colour: Deep purple-red colour.
Aroma: Elegant floral notes and lovely nuances of dried fruit.
Taste: The wine has a full body and well-integrated velvety tannins. There are elegant oak notes, hints of sweet spices, tobacco and a fruity harmony of blackcurrant and blackberry.
Ageing: 24 months in 228-litre and 400-litre casks, then 1 year in the bottle.

Located in the north of Aix-en-Provence, Chateau Vignelaure was established in the 1960s. The microclimate is extremely suitable to create wines of wonderful complexity and pleasing freshness. Chateau Vignelaure is renowned as a pioneer in the planting of Cabernet Sauvignon in Provence and specialises in the production of red wines with exceptional ageing potential. The estate follows organic farming techniques. The grapes for this exceptional wine come from several parcels located on soils of limestone, clay and gravel. It is carefully selected and harvested by hand, and fermentation takes place in inox tanks.
