Destileria Serralles from Puerto Rico once again proves that in addition to a 150-year tradition in rum production, there is also an innovative approach to creating unique combinations of flavors and aromas. In 2018, rum was presented for the first time, which matures in two radically different barrels (Don Q Double Aged Vermouth Cask finish), and in 2019 - an innovative product was created again. Don Q Sherry cask finish first matures for 5 to 8 years in American white oak barrels, then is moved to similar oak barrels, but in which sherry Oloroso has already matured. The second stage of aging lasts 1 year. The final product is a real delight for the palate - dried fruits, smoked wood, dark honey, roasted almonds, raisins and dried cherries. All tastes and aromas are in harmonious balance and suggest long and slow enjoyment of each sip.
