Description

The Highland Park Single Cask Bulgaria project is inspired by the fact that Bulgaria is one of the oldest countries in Europe that has not changed its name since its foundation. It is unique in the world both for its theme and the fact that for the first time the brand is launching products with a Cyrillic label.

Highland Park 1230 Single Cask Series is limited to 595 bottles and aged in a single European oak, first-fill sherry cask. The whisky is aged for 18 years before bottling. The release is dedicated to the Battle of Klokotnitsa on 9 March 1230, when the Bulgarian army led by Tsar Ivan Asen II defeated the army of the Empire of Epirus led by Emperor Theodore Comnenus.

Highland Park is one of Scotland's most iconic whisky distilleries, founded in 1798. For over 200 years, the distillery has combined old-world traditions and the finest craftsmanship to achieve the perfect taste.
