Château d'Aiguilhe, whose property dates back to the 12th century and is linked to the Knights Templar.The current château, a "fortified farmhouse," was built in the 13th century. Chateau d'Aiguilhe is located on hills overlooking the Right Bank of the Dordogne River, on the border between the Cotes de Castillon and Saint-Emilion appellations. This 272-acre estate has 123.5 acres of vines, which are planted exclusively on the upper part of the hills.

Variety: Cabernet Franc, Merlot.
Colour: Deep red colour.
Aroma: The aromatic bouquet is intensely expressive, springing from the glass to reveal notes of black fruit, licorice, spice and delicate floral frangrances.
Taste: On the palate, the vintage displays a superb ripeness of the fruit. The powerful palate offers an elegant material with deliciously polished, silky tannins. The palate continues to develop, with great freshness and energy, thanks to a vibrant acidity. In the end, the finish lingers for a very long time. A great Castillon-Cotes de Bordeaux with a beautiful promise of evolution over time.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C with minimum 1 hour decanting before serving.
