Aroma and flavour: The wine impresses with a bouquet of aromas and flavours reminiscent of berries, ripe cherries and marzipan. Against this background, nuances of tobacco and smoky wood, acquired from ageing in large oak barrels, do not dominate the wine but give it depth. The finish is spicy and long, balanced by lively acidity.
